Job Description
Designs solutions and influences the business requirements, functional and non-functional, so that solutions economically meet these requirements and implement the Office’s IT strategy.
Streamlines business processes, functions, procedures and workflows and apply a consistent implementation approach.
Verifies feasibility in the development of new business processes and systems.
Ensures that technical solutions, procedures and models for solution design and development are up-to-date and comply with standards.
Provides leadership for the construction and implementation of long-term innovative IT solutions.
Exploits specialist knowledge to provide analysis of market environment.
Act with wide ranging accountability to develop the strategy to implement
IT technology compliant with business needs. Takes account of the current technology platform, obsolescent equipment and latest technological innovations.
Accounts for own and others’ actions to ensure that the application integrates correctly within a complex environment and complies with user / customer needs.
Detects signs of change to provide supervision and analysis of current and trend-setting IT technological developments.
Establishes relationships with relevant communities.
Applies independent thinking and technology awareness to lead the integration of disparate concepts for the provision of unique solutions.
Accounts for own and others’ actions in the integration process. Complies with appropriate standards and change control procedures to maintain integrity of the overall system functionality and reliability.
Adapts the level of detail to meet the needs of the targeted population.
Handles complexity by developing standard procedures and architectures in support of cohesive product development. Establishes a set of system requirements that will guide the design of the digital infrastructure.
