The Opportunity
Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of finished cosmetic products during all the key phasis of the product development.
What you'll get to do
Provide regulatory alerts and constraints during marketing brief for new projects
Perform formula and raw material check: verify global compliance regarding ingredients and concentrations
Revision and claims approval, ensuring regulatory compliance and adequate substantiation worldwide. Capacity to offer regulatory acceptable alternatives and perform risk assessment based on market distribution and brand/product footprint
Participating in the Workflow Approval of Legal Texts and validation of artwork
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Quality, Product Supply, and Product Safety to launch new products and support currently marketed products
Participate in regulatory projects to adapt current processes/tools and where necessary improve/streamline company process
We'd love to meet you if you have
Minimum 5 years in regulatory affairs for the cosmetic sector
Experience working with skincare and makeup products, experience in derma category is specially a plus
Strong knowledge of EU, US and China regulations, specially related to claim assessment
Solid experience interacting with Research and Marketing teams to provide regulatory inputs and defend risk analysis
Master's Degree (sciences)
Being fluent in 2 of the 3 following languages: Spanish, English or French
Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and perseverance
Good negotiation skills
